Meet Dr. Nestor Olague

Born and raised on the east side of El Paso, Texas, Dr. Nestor Olague has always been deeply connected to his hometown. His journey into dentistry began at a young age when the father of a childhood friend—a respected local dentist—invited him to spend summers at his office. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong curiosity about the profession and inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to helping others.

In high school, Dr. Olague further explored his passion through the Health Professions Academy at Socorro High School, where he had the opportunity to shadow several dental professionals. These experiences solidified his dream of becoming a dentist and set him on the path he continues today. Dr. Olague went on to earn dual bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Spanish at the University of New Mexico, where he was also an active member of the pre-dental society. In 2016, his childhood dream became reality when he was accepted into the UT Health School of Dentistry in San Antonio. During dental school, he discovered a deep commitment to serving underserved communities, volunteering extensively with the Texas Mission of Mercy program.

After graduation, Dr. Olague carried this passion into practice, first serving families in Roswell, New Mexico. In 2022, he returned home to El Paso with a clear mission: to provide compassionate, high-quality dental care to the community that raised him. Dr. Olague remains dedicated to growth and excellence in his field. He is an active member of the Thunderbird Dental Study Club, where he meets monthly with peers to collaborate and advance clinical skills. His commitment to service also continues through ongoing volunteer work with both the Texas and New Mexico Mission of Mercy programs, offering free dental care to those who need it most.

At the heart of Dr. Olague’s practice is a simple belief: every patient deserves exceptional care delivered with compassion, respect, and integrity.
